Contemporary Arts Commissioning
Drawing on the estates of the late Anthony Reuben and Hermenn Mackintosh, the Reuben-Mackintosh Foundation was formed in 2001, since when its trustees have endowed a broad range of bodies and practitioners within the arts with generous financial assistance.
Though grants are awarded discerningly, they are not strictly limited to the arts, with a rich miscellany of non arts-based enterprises accounting for some 20% of fund designation so far.
In 2010 -with backing from the families of the late Anthony Reuben and Hermenn Mackintosh - responsibility for the arts commissioning and travel bursary schemes of RMF were entrusted with Galerie Haydon Boss.
The Reuben-Mackintosh Foundation is grateful to its sponsors and to the team at Haydon Boss, whose experience have proved invaluable both in terms of locating and nurturing emerging talent.
